Week 4 - Its all got a little closer at the top. Graham's best hand of A's full over Kings coupled with his 5th place just managed to keep him ahead. Adam and Christine both making a charge for the top slot. Once again both Foster Brothers were taken out at the same time, bit of a pattern emerging here. Darthvader moved off the bottom in his absense. All to play for in week 5
Week 3 saw us have a new winner, Christine. Christine showed all players how it is done by not only taking the win and 20 points but also picking up 5 bonus points for the best hand of the week (9's over Q's full) but also taking a bonus for winning with 7-2. This turned out to be the best play of the night too, although was a little lucky to turn 7-2 off suit into a full house.
Lee managed to grind his way out of bottom slot with his second place. Tom is grateful for the newcomer, team partnership of Fred and Ashley, which meant he is not at the bottom of the table. Fred was full of what he was going to do and catch up the current league leader Graham, by showing how easy it is to go out first, yes well played, must remember that one.
Week 2 - Best play of the night, again it was Carl, who took out both of the other Fosters to make them the first casualties of the night.
Bonus points for the 7-2 win were handed out 5 times this week, a couple of walks but 3 good pieces of play. It was heard said that "this 7-2 bonus is too easy" strangely it came from a player who hasn't won with it.
This weeks best hand went to Matty who had a full house Kings over Jacks, coupled with his 7-2 win gave him 10 bonus points.
Biggest mover of the week in the table was adam who went from bottom to third, but for the second week running was taken out of the game by Graham with the same pre flop hand of a pair of kings that took him out last week. This time, though it was heads up and gave Graham a second successive win.
Week 1 - Best play of the night, in the opinion of this writer, was the brave push of 20,000 chips while 3 players still in the hand and winning it with 7-2 off suit. Picking up 5 bonus points and a substantial pot which helped Carl go on to place second for the evening.
The best hand of the night Kings Full over 9's was also the hand which took out the first casualty of the night, Graham beating Adam's trip 9's and gaining the 5 bonus points. This gave him the chip lead which gave him a good chance of the win for the night. In the heads up Carl was outflushed by Graham who claimed the inaugural victory.
